Now with MQTT and Sparkplug protocol support, the 215U-2 allows the IoT gateway to be located directly at the plant or equipment. Including I/O timestamping at the source and support for connection with up to four MQTT broker/servers, the 215U-2 provides the reliability needed for harsh industrial applications.

The 215U-2 can also provide Ethernet and serial gateway support for industrial protocols including Modbus TCP/RTU allowing connection to external PLC’s, pump controllers, smart sensors, or other Modbus devices.

The 215U-2 provides robust/secure two-way wireless communications in extremely challenging indoor and outdoor industrial environments and incorporating Class 1 Division 2 Certification for Hazardous Areas.
